I’m Hanna,23 years old, and I’m very happy to be part of the Awareness Team at ZAM. I’m currently doing my BFD at ZAM and previously studied in Erlangen. So far, I’ve been able to gain some experience in an awareness team at a few evening events, which I now hope to bring into this space and build upon.

It’s very important to me that everyone who visits ZAM feels welcome and comfortable. I’m deeply engaged with topics like mental health, inclusion, diversity, and feminism — and I believe it’s important to stand up for people affected by discrimination and make sure their voices are heard. With an open mind and a lot of empathy, I want to help create and maintain a respectful, appreciative atmosphere so that ZAM remains a safe and inclusive space for everyone.

Hi, I’m Steffi (she/her), and I originally found my way to ZAM simply because I love building things.
But it was the community I discovered here that made me stay. I find it incredibly valuable that so many different people come together at ZAM– to connect, share, and support one another.
As ZAM continues to grow, so do the challenges and the potential for conflict. In other spaces, I’ve already engaged deeply with topics like awareness, discrimination, accessibility, and diversity. Here at ZAM, it’s important to me to help create a safe and supportive environment – one where we can face conflicts together and grow through them.

Hi, my name is Thomas and I’m really happy to be part of the Awareness Team at ZAM.
Throughout my life, I’ve had the privilege of being part of fantastic teams – both as an active member and in leadership roles. From supporting children on school trips to building race cars with fellow students, these experiences have shown me how much we can achieve together, how much joy collaboration brings, and how important it is to truly listen to one another.
As a mechatronics engineer, I’ve learned to communicate across different technical areas and personal interests – building bridges between perspectives. I believe that diversity in ideas and backgrounds is a huge strength that allows us to create innovative and socially meaningful projects.
At ZAM, I’d like to bring in my past experiences – but also remain open to new ideas and perspectives. I see conflict and disagreement as natural parts of progress. They shouldn’t be swept under the rug, but addressed respectfully and constructively – whether or not we end up agreeing.
What matters to me is that everyone understands the reasons behind decisions and feels included in the thought process.
I’m looking forward to supporting you – because: ZAM is simply better together!

I’m Lorenz and originally come from an IT background, which is why I’m also part of ZAM’s internal admin team. I’m also involved in the metal workshop and general construction work at ZAM. Since I’m often around at ZAM, I hope to be able to provide support in personal conflicts and thus contribute to a pleasant and respectful working environment.
