First Aid Course

The Red Cross First Aid course is open to anyone interested, as no prior knowledge is required. The high number of emergencies across a wide range of situations makes it urgently necessary to train as many first responders as possible.

Course topics and applications:

• Self-protection and securing accident scenes
• Assisting in accidents
• Wound care
• Dealing with joint injuries and broken bones
• Burns, heat/cold injuries
• Chemical burns
• Poisoning
• Life-saving emergency measures such as the recovery position and CPR
  Numerous opportunities for practical exercises
